Fall☆Haul

First time ordering from www.zipia.net! I have been a member of their site for quite some time now (2+ years?) but have never taken any daredevil risks to actually place any orders. That has changed…

Shipping: FAST. I sent out the order on November 10 2010 (which was November 11 2010 in Korea), and the package arrived to my address November 17! Pretty impressive!

Shipping Fees: Quite pricey…but SUPER speedy. For 22 items (including a good mixture of accessories, tops, a couple jackets and a pair of fuzzy boots… the total for EMS shipping came to $77 USD.

Prices: Reasonable, you pay for what you get

Quality of Clothing: Not bad! The cotton on the more basic items look a little thin, the jackets look quite thick, nice lining sewn in.

Quality of Accessories: Not as great as they look on the models :( The watches look really nice!

Overall Experience:
Getting in touch with customer service isn't a hassle at all, they respond quite promptly and professionally.

I bought a new BB Cream :) Finished my second tube of Elishacoy bbcream
This time, I tried one from SKIN79~

I really like the coverage that I get from this bb cream ^_^ And I've been experimenting lately with different BB Creams in search for a new "favourite". I must say...the watery ones...are not for me! Coverage is heavier with this one that I have now, this one also helps in whitening too. I like I like :)

Autumn☆Love

I totally shouldn't be blogging...too much other work to be done >.< ...but here I am!

As promised AGES ago...
I took this picture about two months ago.

Shows the color of bitter apricot under the light! It's quite a dark brown color~ It's nice for the winter time though ^_^

I threw these out already though >.< But I did really like them!

:Review:
Comfort: 5/5
Color: 5/5 (very vibrant, but not too "dead" looking, also had a nice 'shine' to them)
Enlargement: 5/5 (enough for me)
Natural: 2/5 (not very natural looking, except maybe from far away under darker lighting)

Overall: I would buy these again! I do like them :) Only thing is...it's not a pair of contacts that you'd probably want to wear for a more natural look >.< These cons help pull off playful looks really nicely though!

Life update
Went to Victoria this past weekend and spent time with hon ^o^
BEST WEEKEND EVER in a REALLY long time ♥

Visited so many different places, from Chinatown to Downtown, to the movie theater somewherem Sidney...it was wonderful! I also took the ferry for the first time, by myself! It's been so long since I've taken the ferry...or gone to Victoria @_@ More than 10 years now! And I went with my parents >.<

I finally dyed my hair again :) but, I don't really have good pics of the new colour~ I must say, that the colour is a lot darker than I've had it previously, although it does seem to lighten up under strong lighting.
I'll post more pics when I take them (eventually I shall lol)

Hardly happens, I know XD But I must say...I was pretty happy that it looked like fried rice ^___^ LOL

Fall☆2010

Today is my first day of classes!! I'm a little excited, yet at the same time, dreading classes lol
I'm really looking forward to the new year 2011~ >.<
Maybe it's too early to be looking forward to something that seems so far away…yet so close @_@

This is such a random entry lol But I really wanted to do a recap of my summer :)

Illuminated☆Canvas

I've been working on a project lately.
It's very ghetto…but I'm pretty proud for putting it together in such a limited amount of time…

I meant to have this done a month ago, but collecting the right materials and actually penciling out/figuring out what I wanted on the canvas took a while >A<

Materials
1 x Blank canvas
1 x Light
1 x Tube of black acrylic paint
1 x package of tacks
1 x super glue
1 x Weldbond (thumbs up)
2 x Wooden sticks

Tools
1 x hand saw
1 x hammer
Paint brushes

Process
1. I started off by penciling my 'image' onto the canvas

2. I took black paint and painted the rest of the canvas black (left my 'image' free of paint)

3. Sawed my wood into different lengths, two of the same length, one for the top of the frame and one for the bottom of the frame

4. Used Weldbond to glue the wood bits together (I'm no handyman…I tried using nails…but epicly failed =.=)

5. Opened the lid of the light and tacked the shell to the piece of wood (I let super glue run in the crevices of the "tack holes"

6. Put the light back in place and Weldbonded the wood to the frame of the canvas
7. Once I had the light installed properly, I turned it on and touched up on my paint job

8. Cleaned up the wiring from the light.

9. Tada!! ^_____^

Comments
I think it looks pretty cool, the only thing I'd change would be the stencilling…and painting. I tried my best, but it's really hard when you're free-handing >.< staying outside the lines was quite challenging too…
Also…working with wood…omg… lol Better to have a POWER SAW =.=
My arms are still sore from sawing those wood pieces…haha
A small power drill would've come in handy too…tacking the light's shell to the block of wood was a challenge @_@ My hammer couldn't' really fit into the small area that I had to work with.

Hope he likes it… >/////<
Can't say I didn't try to make it look pretty and cool :(
